Creative Lineage
Artist-originated concept · Began in vision and paper exploration · Constructed by the artist in Microsoft Paint · Rendered and refined with Zion Hoover · Recognizable finished form documented by November 2020 · Later reflection connected its directional movement specifically with Hexagram 11, Peace, and with yin / yang and feminine / masculine relation · Later AI dialogue in interpretation and story development
The Recognition
It began with an i.
A circle above a square.
Then I wondered:
Could those same forms become a heart?
The Turning
In vision, the square turned.
The circle opened.
I tried it on paper.
And the heart appeared.
The heart came from those same source forms entering movement.
The Movement
The square rotated into a diamond.
It was still geometrically a square, but now it rose into the heart.
The circle opened into two connected halves.
Its circular origin remained visible in the curves, but it was no longer a closed circle.
Those halves descended to become the two lobes.
The heart came through motion:
opening,
turning,
rising,
descending,
meeting.
Peace
Later, when I spoke of Yin and Yang in the design, I was referring specifically to Hexagram 11 — Peace.
Its movement gave me a language for what I was already seeing:
yin descends.
yang rises.
they meet.
I also read that meeting through feminine and masculine principles:
yin / feminine,
yang / masculine.
I held them as complementary movements rather than rigid identities.
Love Is Peace
For me, the heart makes that meeting visible.
The descending and rising movements remain distinct.
They meet.
And in that meeting:
Peace.
Love.
Love is Peace.
Beyond the Surface
The heart was not placed beside the geometry as something separate from it.
It emerged through the movement of the geometry already there.
The square turns and rises.
The circle opens and descends.
Yin meets Yang.
Feminine meets masculine.
Difference remains visible, and relation becomes visible with it.
For me, that is the deeper geometry:
Love is the Peace of complementary movements meeting without losing themselves.
What Continued to Open
“Loving mathematics” became another way to speak of the work.
“The Love Geometry Remembers” followed too.
Those belong to the continuing life of the design.
They did not create its beginning.
The Remembrance
A circle.
A square.
An i.
An opening.
A turning.
Yin descending.
Yang rising.
Feminine and masculine.
A meeting.
Peace.
Love.
A heart.
Love made visible through movement and relation.
