Less a command. More a name.
Creative Lineage
Artist-originated concept · Emerged in 2023 through contemplation of FEARLESS · fear / less → love / more · 24 present from the beginning alongside the approach of 2024 and the artist’s numerical reflections · LOVEMORE intentionally joined as one word to read as a name · Original composition constructed by the artist through an online apparel font generator, screenshots, and Microsoft Paint · First garments transferred and heat-pressed by the artist · Later AI dialogue in interpretation only
The Recognition
It began with a word:
FEARLESS.
I looked at it closely and saw:
fear
less.
A word meant to move beyond fear was still built from fear and less.
So I turned the relation around:
fear → love
less → more
LOVE MORE.
The Name
Written with a space, LOVE MORE could sound like an instruction.
That was not the form I wanted.
I wanted a name.
So the space closed:
LOVEMORE.
Then the jersey language made the composition clear:
a name above,
a number below.

The Number
24 was already present in the design’s beginning.
I had been reflecting on numerical relationships around 24, and 2024 was approaching.
The number entered naturally beside the name.
Its role in the composition is simple: the number belonging beneath the name.
The Making
I built the first composition with what I had.
An online apparel font generator.

Microsoft Paint.
I curved the name into the familiar language of a jersey, placed 24 beneath it, and made the artwork.
The transfer came back to me.
I placed it on the shirt and heat-pressed it myself.
Name.
Number.
Cloth.
Beyond the Surface
The design began with reversal.
What shifted was the relation I was looking at:
fear / less
became
love / more.
For me, that is where the deeper reflection remains.
Sometimes a form changes because another relationship becomes visible inside what was already there.
LOVEMORE is the name that came through that turning.
24 stands beneath it.
The composition carries the name.
What Continued to Open
Later, LOVEMORE 24 gathered other associations through business, poetry, remembrance, breath, presence, and wholeness.
Those belong to its continuing life.
They did not create the first garment.
The beginning remains simpler:
a word examined,
a relation reversed,
a name formed,
a number placed beneath it.
